Ganesh Vacations Tours And Travels
Welcome to my travel blog about my visit to Goa, India's paradise destination! Known for its beautiful beaches, lively nightlife, and Portuguese influence, Goa is a must-visit destination for anyone traveling to India.
I started my journey in North Goa, which is known for its party scene and bustling beaches. I visited Baga Beach, which is a popular destination for water sports, such as parasailing and jet skiing. The beach is lined with shacks that serve delicious seafood and refreshing drinks. I also visited Anjuna Beach, which is known for its lively flea market that sells everything from clothes to souvenirs.
Next, I traveled to Old Goa, which is known for its historic churches and cathedrals. I visited the Basilica of Bom Jesus, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a stunning example of Baroque architecture. The church is famous for holding the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier. I also visited the Se Cathedral, which is the largest church in Asia and a beautiful example of Portuguese-Gothic architecture.
After exploring the historic side of Goa, I headed to South Goa, which is known for its calm and serene beaches. I visited Palolem Beach, which is one of the most beautiful beaches in Goa. The beach is surrounded by lush green hills and has calm waters, perfect for swimming. I also visited Colva Beach, which is another popular destination for tourists.
In addition to beaches and historic landmarks, Goa is also known for its delicious cuisine. I indulged in the famous Goan fish curry, which is made with coconut milk and Goan spices. I also tried the local drink feni, which is made from cashew fruit and is a must-try when visiting Goa.
My trip to Goa was an unforgettable experience. The beaches, historic landmarks, and delicious cuisine make Goa a perfect destination for anyone looking for a mix of relaxation and adventure. If you're planning a trip to India, make sure to add Goa to your list!
